ACADEMIC WRITING CHALLENGES OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNERS IN PAKISTAN

This descriptive qualitative research sought to explore as what would be the best writing approach adopted teach academic skill undergraduate university students identify and minimize identified problems. The aim of study was strengthen students. For this purpose, thirty were selected involved in focus group discussions highlight problematic area field writing. Thematic analysis helped understand problems faced by suggestions made on basis study’s findings. revealed students’ inability use appropriate vocabulary. These lacked express themselves their own words, often written work look patchy. English being foreign language hampered ability think target language. present contributed suggested process faculty overcome related problems.
